Sunny Ozell, Lady Stewart is an American singer and songwriter who resides in England. She is married to the British actor Sir Patrick Stewart.

The couple met in New York in 2008 at Franny’s restaurant, where Sunny Ozell was working as a waitress while Stewart was performing in Macbeth at the nearby Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Patrick Stewart and Ozell were engaged in March 2013, and they married on September 7, 2013, beside Lake Tahoe in Nevada, with actor Ian McKellen officiating the ceremony.

She has two stepchildren from her marriage to Stewart. Patrick Stewart purchased a home in the Park Slope neighbourhood of Brooklyn in August 2012 and subsequently began living there with Ozell.

In 2020, Stewart revealed that his marriage to Ozell in Nevada had not been legally binding because McKellen’s marriage credentials were not valid in Nevada.

The couple subsequently held an impromptu and official second ceremony with McKellen at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles shortly after the Nevada ceremony.
