American educator and author Patricia Holland was 81 years old at the time of her death.

Patricia died on July 20, 2023, from natural causes, leaving behind her husband, Jeffrey Holland, three children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Who Was Patricia Holland?
Patricia Holland was an educator, and well-known leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS).
Patricia was born on February 16, 1942, in Enterprise, Utah, and attended LDS Business College (now Ensign College), and Dixie College (now Utah Tech University).

She also studied Piano and Voice at Juilliard in New York city.

As far back as the 1980s, Patricia served as first counselor to Ardeth G. Kapp in the Young Women General Presidency on two occasions.
In 2012, Patricia was awarded the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” from LDS Business College (LDSBC) “for her contributions to the family, her church, and community.”
Patricia had published a number of books during her lifetime and will be remembered for her great speeches.
In 2000, she published the book A Quiet Heart, which won the Association for Mormon Letters Award for devotional literature.
