Patrice Ablack is the new wife of American former professional basketball player Ralph Sampson.

Ablack is an actress but she has not starred in a lot of movies.
Ablack is known to have participated in just one movie, The Return of Superfly, which was released in 1990.
Ablack and Sampson got engaged in early 2018 and have stayed together since then.
Ablack is Sampson’s second wife.

Sampson’s first wife is Aleize and they got married in 1986 but divorced in 2003, after seventeen years of marriage.

Throughout his illustrious career, Sampson played for;
- Houston Rockets (1983–1987)
- Golden State Warriors (1987–1989)
- Sacramento Kings (1989–1991)
- Washington Bullets (1991–1992)
- Unicaja Ronda (1992) and
- Rockford Lightning (1994–1995).
Sampson played center for the University of Virginia, and he led the Cavaliers to an NIT title in 1980, an NCAA Final Four appearance in 1981, and an NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 1983.
Sampson earned three Naismith Awards as the National Player of the Year, becoming only the second athlete to do so (Bill Walton was the first), and a pair of Wooden Awards.
Sampson was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
