Religious US broadcaster, Pat Robertson has been reported dead on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at age 93. No cause of death was given. His death was officially announced by the Christian Broadcasting Network.

“Pat Robertson, longtime TV host, religious broadcaster, educator, humanitarian, and one-time presidential candidate died at his home in Virginia Beach early Thursday morning. He was 93,” the statement read.

Born on March 22, 1930, Pat Robertson founded the Christian Broadcasting Network in 1960 and was ordained as a Southern Baptist minister in 1961. He hosted a CBN talk show called the 700 Club for decades. The show combined religious and political commentary with a little entertainment.

He also founded Regent University which has been ranked the No. 1 Best Online Bachelor’s Program in Virginia for ten years in a row by U. S. News & World Report in 2022, as well as Best Graduate Schools-Law, Best Graduate Schools – Social Sciences, and Humanities Doctoral Programs, and more.

Dr. Robertson was a globally-renowned leader, broadcaster, philanthropist, educator, author, accomplished businessman, and most importantly, a faithful servant of God who dedicated his life to glorify the Lord and the sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” Regent University Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, William L. Hathaway shared.
