Nigerian Catholic priest Fr. Oluoma has come out on social media to backlash the pastor who asked musical artiste, Davido, to pay tithe out of the money he solicited from his friends and gave to charity.

Davido had asked his online friends and loved ones to send him N1M each, with the plan to give it out to charity.
The singer exceeded his target as alot of his friends sent him way more than he asked for. He eventually added his own contribution in order to meet his charity goals.

However, the moment he announced that he was giving the money out to charity, a man of God asked him to come and pay tithe out of it before giving the rest to charity.
His statement led to the reaction of Rev. Fr. Oluoma who said if he wasn’t a man of God he would have cursed that pastor for asking the singer to pay the tithe.
In spite of the reactions, the singer has remained silent and is probably proceeding with his plans to gift it to charity.
