However, behind the musical prowess lies the foundation of family, with Pascal Obispo being the son of Max Obispo and Nicole Guérin.

Born on January 8, 1965, in the picturesque town of Bergerac, Pascal Obispo’s lineage is rooted in both the Basque and Angevin origins of his parents.

His father, Max Obispo, not only played a significant role in the world of football as a former Bordeaux Girondins player but also made literary contributions through published works. Max authored a book on football, showcasing his passion for the sport.

In 2010, he delved into the realm of fiction with “Le Sable d’Ararat,” a novel inspired by his encounter with the Armenian Minister of Culture, Hasmik Boghossian. The novel beautifully draws parallels between the Armenian and Basque languages, creating a unique literary tapestry.

Nicole Guérin, originally from Angers, completes the parental duo that shaped Pascal Obispo’s early years. Following the divorce of Max and Nicole in 1978, Pascal found himself under the care of his mother.

Nicole, displaying strength and resilience, decided to settle in Rennes, creating a supportive environment for Pascal’s upbringing.
