Pádraig Peter Harrington is an Irish professional golfer who competes on the European Tour and the PGA Tour born on August 31, 1971.

Padraig Harrington married Caroline in December 1997, when she was 24 years old and he was 26 years old.

Caroline grew up surrounded by sports, with her father being an all-Ireland pitch and putt champion as well as a table tennis player and coach.

Caroline, a skilled golfer, met Padraig at their local golf club in Stackstown, south county Dublin when they were teenagers.

In 1989, she was 16 years old and still a junior member of Stackstown when she witnessed an 18-year-old Padraig compete in a junior event.

Padraig asked her out after a few months and brought her to the movies for their first date.

From there, the couple’s friendship grew stronger, and they married in 1997.
