Patrick George Considine is an actor, director and screenwriter born on September 5, 1973.

Paddy was schooled at Abbot Beyne Senior School and attended Burton College, where he obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts.

He is known for his many collaborations with filmmaker Shane Meadows.

Paddy came to limelight in the early 2000s, making his acting debut with the movie A Room for Romeo Brass (1999). His first lead role was in the film Last Resort (2000).

Paddy starred as lead character in the films In America (2003) and My Summer of Love (2004), and played supporting roles in Doctor Sleep (2002) and 24 Hour Party People (2002).

His co-wrote the movie Dead Man’s Shoes (2004) and played the role of Richard in the same movie.

Paddy has so far won two British Academy Film Awards, three Evening Standard British Film Awards, British Independent Film Awards and a Silver Lion award.
