Pablo Marí is Arsenal football club’s current centre-back.

Mari hails from Spain and still plays for Serie A club Monza, on loan.

A graduate of Mallorca’s youth academy, Mari’s career has seen him play for many clubs across Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, England and Italy.

He had won the 2019 Copa Libertadores and Série A and was absorbed into the Série A Team of thesame year.

What Happened To Pablo Mari?

Mari was stabbed in the neck during a supermarket attack that occurred in Milan.

He had gone shopping with his wife and son, when he suddenly felt a pain in his back and then he saw the attacker stab another person in the throat.

The Arsenal striker was rushed to the Niguarda hospital in Milan, and had to undergo surgery on his back to repair a couple of damaged muscles.

He is likely to be off the field for the next two months.

Five casualties including one death was recorded in the attack that took place at the Milano Fiori shopping centre in the Assago area of the northern Italian city.

Arrests have however been made by the Police in this regard.
