Otto Addo Names 26-Man Squad for Mali and CAR Matches; Dede Ayew and Inaki Williams Absent

Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, has announced a 26-man squad for the upcoming matches against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR). Notably absent from the list are Dede Ayew and Inaki Williams.

The squad includes three goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Jojo Wollacott, and Frederick Asare of Asante Kotoko.

In defense, Otto Addo has excluded the experienced Daniel Amartey but included players like Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, and Alexander Djiku.

Thomas Partey returns to the midfield, joined by Salis Samed, Elisha Owusu, Edmond Addo, and others. Otto Addo has also given debut call-ups to Ibrahim Sulemana and Brandon Thomas-Asante.

The Black Stars will face Mali in Bamako on June 6, followed by a match against CAR at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on June 10.
