Nonetheless, as per US-based broadcaster for Portland Timbers Radio, another MLS team, Adam Susman, the agreement is valued at seven million dollars.
The deal, which was unveiled late in May, saw the former FC Nantes player join Austin on a three-and-a-half-year contract, with the possibility of extending for an additional year.
During his Evergreen Podcast, Susman further mentioned that six months prior, MLS side Chicago Fire had proposed a $10 million deal to Red Star Belgrade for Bukari.
Susman described Bukari’s signing to Austin as an “exciting one” adding that “players like this make the league more fun…I’m excited to see Bukari play for Austin.”
