Oscar Pistorius does not have any children yet.

Both of Oscar Pistorius’s feet were amputated when he was 11 months old owing to a congenital defect; he was born missing the outside of both feet and both fibulae.

Pistorius ran in both non-disabled sprint events and sprint events for below-knee amputees. He was the 10th athlete to compete at both the Paralympic Games and Olympic Games.

At the 2011 World Championships in Athletics, he was the first amputee to win a non-disabled world track medal. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was the first double-leg amputee participant.

Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide at a first trial after shooting his girlfriend on Valentine’s day in 2013. He was sentenced to five years in prison, On December 3, 2015, the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa overturned the conviction and instead convicted Pistorius of murder. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison, which was later increased to 13 years and 5 months by the Court of Appeal.
