Oscar Mercado is an American baseball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Guardians in the MLB.

Mercado was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the second round of the 2013 MLB Draft. In his first season with the Guardians, he batted.269 with 15 home runs and 54 RBI.

With Oscar Gonzalez being sent to the IL on Saturday, July 2022, the Guardians needed an extra outfielder, so Mercado will return to help restore some depth.
