Millie Corretjer is a Puerto Rican singer and actress who is known as the ex-wife of Oscar De La Hoya, a former professional boxer.

She is the granddaughter of Juan Antonio Corretjer, a prominent poet and former Secretary General of the pro-independence Puerto Rican Nationalist Party.
Millie Corretje has three children, a son, Oscar Gabriel De La Hoya and two daughters, Nina Lauren Nenitte De La Hoya and Victoria Lauren Rose De La Hoya with Oscar De La Hoya.
Millie Corretje was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 18, 1974, to Jess Francisco Corretjer and Milagros Maldonado.

She released the album Sola (“Alone”) in 1995, which sent three of her songs to the Billboard charts. Corretjer released her second album, Emociones, in 1997.
Millie Corretje’s third album, 1999’s Amar es un Juego, was certified gold in Puerto Rico, and her song “De Hoy en Adelante” (“From Today On”) charted at number one for more than six weeks.
Millie Corretje and her music gained popularity in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil (where she lived for six months), and other Latin American countries, in addition to the United States.
