Carlo Bonomi was an Italian voice actor and clown best known for his work as Mr Linea in the animated series La Linea and Pingu and various other characters in the stop-motion children’s television series of the same name.

Carlo Bonomi died on August 6, 2022, at the age of 85. The cause of death for the voice actor has not yet been revealed, but tributes have poured in since his death on Saturday, August 6 2022.

Carlo Bonomi was born on 12 March 1937 in Milan, Italy. He provided the laughter voices for the cartoon series Stripy in 1984.
Bonomi was also a popular voice actor in Italian radio dramas, and he provided the Italian voices for several popular cartoon characters, including Mickey Mouse and Fred Flintstone.
He voiced the yellow tribe in Spore in 2008, which was also his final role before retiring from acting later that year.
