The residents, predominantly farmers, had previously enjoyed peace in the area until the recent surge in activities involving land guards.
They attribute these troubling developments to the alleged involvement of Nii Kwasi Gborlo, the chief of Amanfrom.
According to reports, an estate agency claiming ownership of the land has been responsible for destroying farms belonging to members of the community.

This has left the farmers deeply concerned, prompting calls for government intervention through state security agencies to restore calm to the area.
Nii Obeng, the Chief of Obengman, expressed apprehension during an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, highlighting the looming threat of a volatile situation.
He cited ongoing threats from land guards and their supervision of sand winning activities in the vicinity as causes for concern.
Nii Obeng further emphasized the potential risk of neighboring villages facing extinction and the imminent loss of livelihoods for many individuals in the community.
