Omotola was born on February 7, 1978 in Lagos, Nigeria to Shola Jalade, Oluwatoyin Jalade.
She attended Command Secondary Schoo,l Kaduna (1988–1993) and obtained a degree in Estate Management from Yaba College of Technology in 2004.
Omotola grew up in a family of five; her parents and two younger brothers; Tayo and Bolaji Jalade.
