Omah Lay Hints On Visiting Ghana On January 9

Afro-fusion singer, Omah Lay, has hinted on plans to visit his fans in the Republic of Ghana this Saturday, January 9, 2020.

Omah Lay announced this through his Twitter page when a fan identified as ‘Thriller Carter’, pleaded with him to visit the country because fans have been expecting him for a long time now.

The tweet reads, “@ Omah_Lay Charley make u do wild come Ghana na the way Adey wan see u no long #letswelcomeinGhana”. Omah Lay quickly responded to the tweet and said, “This Saturday Charley!”.

About three weeks ago, Police in Uganda arrested Omah Lay for holding an unauthorised concert on a Saturday night in the capital, Kampala. They were accused of doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of the coronavirus. He was arrested alongside, popular musician, Tems and the event organiser and owner of the placed used to hold the show.
