Olivier Giroud is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for AC Milan and the France national team.

Born on September 30, 1986, in Chambery, France, Giroud is known for his strength, and high goal-scoring ability.

Giroud’s career began in 1992 with the Froges. So far, he has played for the Grenoble, Istres, Tours, Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea, and now, AC Milan.

In 2010, he was named Ligue 2 Player of the Year. While he was with Arsenal, he won three FA Cups, and so far, is the club’s eighteenth-highest all-time goalscorer.

When he was transferred to Chelsea in 2018 for a fee of £18 million, he helped the club win the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Europa League.

In 2021, he was signed to AC Milan and led the team to win the 2021–2022 Serie A.

As a player for France, Giroud has since earned over 110 caps, and has appeared in 5 major tournaments. He is also France’s all-time top goalscorer, together with Thierry Henry.

In 2022, Giroud played as part of the French squad for the 2022 World Cup.
