Olivia’s parents divorced when she was very young, and she moved in with her mother and sister, Eleanor.

Olivia Cooke began acting at the age of eight at the Oldham Theatre Workshop, an after-school drama programme in her hometown.

Olivia Cooke is best known for her roles as Emma Decody in A&E’s drama thriller series Bates Motel (2013–2017) and Becky Sharp in the period drama miniseries Vanity Fair (2018).
Olivia Cooke also appeared in Ouija (2014), Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), The Limehouse Golem (2016), Thoroughbreds (2017), Ready Player One (2018), and Sound of Metal (2020).
