Oliver Burke Parents: Who are Sally Rabbit-Dalby and Jasen Burke?

Sally Rabbit-Dalby and Jasen Burke are the parents of Scottish footballer, Oliver Burke. There is very little information about them, however, it is believed that they are in their 50s or 60s.

Born on April 7, 1997, Oliver Burke was just eight years when he joined the local club Mowbray Rangers. After one season at the club, he was scouted to join Nottingham Forest’s Academy where he progressed for the next nine years.

He signed his first professional contract with Nottingham Forest on September 9, 2014, before making his professional debut as an 87th-minute substitute during a 3-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on September 24, 2014. He made his league debut on February 14, 2015, as a 64th-minute substitute in a 4-4 draw away to Blackpool.

Burke was sent on a month-long loan to League One club Bradford City on February 24, 2015. He made his debut for the team on the same day, playing for 75 minutes in a 2-1 loss away to Swindon Town.

Burk joined the newly promoted Bundesliga club RB Leipzig on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. This move happened on August 28, 2016, and it caused outrage among Nottingham Forest supporters who heavily criticized the club’s owner, Fawaz Al-Hasawi.

He went back to the English Premier League on August 25, 2017, when he joined West Bromwich Albion for a reported fee of 15 million GBP, breaking his own record as the most expensive Scottish footballer. He signed a five-year contract with the club, and shared that, he joined the team because it would allow him get more play time.

Burke moved on loan to Celtic on January 5, 2019, until the end of the season, making his debut two weeks later. He played the full 90 minutes of a 3-0 home win over Airdrieonians in the Scottish Cup.

On August 30, 2019, he was also loaned to La Liga club Alaves for the season, and made his debut for his new club in their 1-0 defeat to Sevilla on September 15, 2019.

Burke also signed for Sheffield United in September 2020 on a three-year contract with the team. He joined Millwall on a loan on January 21, 2022.

In June 2022, Burke returned to the Bundesliga, joining newly promoted Werder Bremen from Sheffield United. He scored his first goal for Bremen on August 13, 2022, netting late to secure a 2-2 draw with VfB Stuttgart. A week later, he scored the decisive goal in a dramatic, come-from-behind 3-2 win at Borussia Dortmund.

He returned to his former club Millwall on a loan in January 2023, until the end of the season.
