Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by MzGee, Ola Michael expressed concern over Funny Face’s pattern of misconduct, remorse, and relapse, suggesting a troubling trend in the comedian’s behavior.
“We have overpampered him,” Ola remarked on April 13, 2024. “Our tolerance has only encouraged his reckless behavior. He makes mistakes, apologizes, pledges to mend his ways, yet swiftly returns to his old habits. One begins to wonder if it’s deliberate or if he only seeks redemption when he is in trouble. When calls for prayers arise, it feels like we’re indulging his folly.”

Ola’s comments come in the wake of Funny Face being granted bail after a car accident that nearly killed five people, including a mother and two children, at Kasoa, Kakraba junction in the Central Region.
Funny Face’s vehicle was involved in the accident on Sunday, March 24, leading to allegations of drunk driving and speeding. He spent two weeks in police custody before being granted bail by the Kasoa-Akweley District Court on April 9, 2024.
Since his breakup with Vanessa in 2021, Funny Face has been embroiled in a series of public controversies, including clashes with industry figures and bouts of erratic behavior.
Some attribute his actions to mental health struggles stemming from his strained relationship with his ex-partner and limited access to his children.
