Odartey Lamptey Credits Marriage to His Work as a Source of Healing After Heartbreak and Disappointment

Ghanaian football legend Odartey Lamptey has advised men to commit themselves fully to their careers.

He believes that if men fully dedicate themselves to their careers, they won’t feel let down if their partners are unfaithful.

Odartey shared this insight during an interview with sports journalist Dan Kwaku Yeboah, where he discussed how he managed his difficult experience with his ex-wife.

“I strongly believe that as a man you need to marry your job. When the issue happened to me, when I come here I listen to some of the recordings I did on my phone. If you don’t get close to your job, you’ll lose your job and also lose the other things that you focused on,” he said.

He expressed gratitude towards his father for disciplining him, as it made him strong enough to endure hardships.
