Nsoatreman Late Goal Further Extends Kotoko Winless Streak To Six Matches

Asante Kotoko’s streak without a win in the Ghana Premier League persisted as they faced defeat against Nsoatreman on the evening of Thursday, April 11.

Kotoko suffered a 2-1 defeat at their home ground, the Baba Yara Stadium, with Nsoatreman clinching a late winning goal in the match.

Nsoatreman took the lead in Kumasi after 23 minutes, with former Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar finding the net to put his team in front.

After Nsoatreman’s initial goal, Shadrack Addo found the net for the Asante Warriors just three minutes before halftime.

Prosper Narteh Ogum made adjustments to his team in the second half, but his substitutions had minimal impact on the scoreline.

Just as the game appeared to be heading for a draw, Nsoatreman clinched a late winner during added time in extra time.

Mohammed Abdul Rahman found the net for the visiting team, securing all three points.

Kotoko’s loss now marks their fifth defeat in the last six league games, with one draw.
