Pope Yao Yevoo, the Regional Secretary of the NPP, emphasized the party’s commitment to collaborating with state agencies at the borders to prevent the infiltration of foreigners into Ghana’s electoral system.
“We are aware that the NDC is reverting to its old tactic of aiding foreigners to register in this limited registration. We are working assiduously with all stakeholders to ensure that this practice is fiercely resisted,” Yevoo stated.

He further asserted that the party’s intelligence and operational machinery had been activated, promising severe consequences for any attempts to undermine the integrity of the electoral process.
Additionally, Yevoo encouraged Junior and Senior High students who have recently turned 18 to register themselves to vote in the upcoming December elections.
He expressed optimism about the registration exercise and highlighted that all stakeholders had been trained accordingly, hoping for a peaceful process across the region.
