Nollywood mourns the loss of one of its legends as veteran actor Zulu Adigwe reportedly passed away on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024.

The sad news was shared by movie producer Stanley Nwoko on Instagram, expressing his regret at the passing of the esteemed actor.
Nwoko did not disclose the cause of Adigwe’s death but offered condolences to his family and loved ones.

Adigwe was a well-known figure in the Nigerian film industry, having appeared in numerous popular movies including “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free.”
His death adds to the list of notable losses suffered by Nollywood in 2024, which includes actors such as Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope.
The passing of Zulu Adigwe marks the end of an era in Nollywood, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
