One Nollywood actor whose details are not known has made claims that the alleged death of fellow actor Junior Pope was a stunt to promote a movie.

The Nollywood actor made his claims through a video that surface on social media as he stated vividly that the death of Junior Pope was faked in order to promote the said movie he was acting.
The actot stated: “The producers of this movie are trying to use Junior Pope’s death as a prank to promote the movie. It’s not going to be funny because it’s going to be a slap on the face of the movie industry.”

Despite this claims, Emeka Rollas, who plies his trade as the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has come out to confirm the unfortunate death of Junior Pope.
This confirmation puts an end to the claims made by the Nollywood actor who claimed about the sudden death of Junior Pope was fake.
Emeka Rollas made it known that after Junior Pope drowned for about two hours, he was rescued and rushed to the hospital.
However, despite health professional’s efforts to resuscitate Junior Pope, he succumbed to death on that same day, that is on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
