Noa Kirel is a singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and television host from Israel. She is Jewish.

She was born in Israel to Israeli-Jewish parents. She has Ashkenazi, Sephardi and Mizrahi heritage.

Noa went to Auschwitz in 2019 with her father, Amir, to remember family members who were murdered there during the Holocaust.
The trip was part of the Shem Olam musical project, in which Israeli singers perform Holocaust-related songs. Noa’s song, which was released in 2019, is titled “My Mother.”

Noa joined the IDF in 2020 to complete her mandatory military service. She was discharged in February 2022.

In the year 2021, she released her first international single, “Please Don’t Suck.” Between 2017 and 2022, Noa Kirel won the MTV Europe Music Awards for best Israeli act.

Noa Kirel was chosen by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on July 11, 2022.

Unicorn, Kirel’s competing song for her native Israel at the 2023 Eurovision, was released on March 8, 2023. Kirel co-wrote and co-composed the song in addition to performing it.
