Anna Hakobyan is the wife of Nikol Pashinyan, the current Prime Minister of Armenia.

The couple met at Yerevan State University. They are the parents of three daughters and one son.
Pashinyan and Hakobyan are not legally married, and there was no church ceremony. Pashinyan expressed his desire for them to marry in an Armenian Apostolic church one day.
Ashot, their son, volunteered to serve in Artsakh in 2018 and again in October 2020 during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Anna Hakobyan was born in the Armenian SSR on February 1, 1978. She received her bachelor’s degree from Yerevan State University.

She began working as a journalist in Armenia after graduating. She is currently the editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak, Armenia’s largest newspaper.
Following her husband’s election as Prime Minister on May 8, 2018, Hakobyan became the official spouse of the Prime Minister.
Immediately following the election, Hakobyan convened a meeting with paediatric cancer charities and professionals.
A working group to enhance the situation of paediatric cancer in Armenia was formed during the meeting session under her leadership. A nonprofit foundation, of which Hakobyan is Honorary President, is currently being formed to assist the growth of paediatric oncology and haematology in Armenia.
