Bwala emphasized the importance of adjusting to the new government’s agenda and working together for the progress of the nation.

Bwala made this known following the announcement of the implementation of the cybersecurity levy on transactions by the Federal Government on Monday. The Central Bank earlier directed all banks to charge a 0.5 percent cybersecurity levy on all electronic transactions within the country starting two weeks from May 6.

“The levy shall be applied at the point of electronic transfer origination, then deducted and remitted by the financial institution. The deducted amount shall be reflected in the customer’s account with the narration, ‘Cybersecurity Levy’,” it said.

Speaking during an interview on Channels TV on Wednesday, Bwala argued that President Tinubu is not insensitive to the plights of Nigerians, stating that ‘hardships won’t last forever.’
