Tangmo Nida Patcharaweerapong was a popular actress in Thailand who has appeared in several films and television for the past two decades. She was last seen in the tv series ‘The Fallen Leaf (2019)’.

She starred in the 2006 film Ghost of Mae Nak, which was based on one of Thailand’s oldest ghost legends, which dates back over a century.
Nida was born on September 13, 1984, in Thailand.
She was found by a talent scout while roaming through a mall when she was in fifth grade. Since 2002, she has appeared in print and media advertisements for more than 13 Thai brands.
On October 2, 2016, she served as a spokesperson for victims of serial fraudsters who purported to be celebrities to rob fans of their money.
Nida was married to actor Pakin Kumwilaisuk from 2013 to 2015.

Nida was heading towards a restaurant with friends when she fell into the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok on February 24.

She was reportedly seated on the back end of the boat but how she fell remains uncertain.
The speedboat searched for Nida for 20 minutes after her friends noticed she was missing but later called the local authorities, who sent a team of 30 divers to search the area.
According to the report, on Saturday, February 26, Tangmo’s body was found by the rescuers after searching for 36 hours.
Nida’s brother Dais Dejjab joined the search and rescue mission and reportedly spotted “something floating” in the water, which was later identified to be the actress.
Doctors who conducted an autopsy on her confirmed she died from drowning and found a deep gash on her left leg which may have been caused by the boat’s propeller.
Investigations are ongoing to ascertain whether her death was an accident or murder.
