Born in London, Ontario, Suzuki’s journey in the world of ice hockey began at the young age of 8. His early passion for the sport quickly became evident, leading to his draft by the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

The team selected Suzuki in the first round, 14th overall, during the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. Demonstrating promise and dedication, Suzuki signed with the Owen Sound Attack as an amateur in June of the same year.

Suzuki’s talents on the ice did not go unnoticed, and in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, the Vegas Golden Knights selected him in the first round, 13th overall. This marked a significant step in his professional career, propelling him to the grand stage of the NHL.

Beyond his contributions at the professional level, Suzuki has also represented his country on the international stage. As a member of the Canadian junior team, he played a crucial role in the 2019 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships held in British Columbia. Despite the team’s elimination in the quarterfinals against Finland, Suzuki’s performance showcased his skills and dedication to the game.
