Nick Richards has been making waves in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a centre representing the Charlotte Hornets.

Born on November 29, 1997, in Kingston, Jamaica, Richards’ journey in basketball began to take shape during his college years.

He made a name for himself while playing college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats, a powerhouse in collegiate basketball.

In 2017, Richards achieved career-high numbers, scoring an impressive 25 points and snatching 15 rebounds in a game against IPFW, leading the Wildcats’ to a 86–67 victory.

During the 2020 NBA draft, he was selected as the 42nd overall pick by the New Orleans Pelicans. However, shortly after the draft, Richards was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick.
