Who Is Niamh Fahey?

Niamh Fahey is a footballer who plays for English Women’s Super League club Liverpool FC as a defensive midfielder / centre-back.

Fahey started her early career with Salthill Devon in 2000, before she joined Arsenal Ladies in 2008, making 18 appearances for Arsenal.

She played for Galway on loan in 2007 and helped the team win the FA Cup.

Fahey spent six seasons with Arsenal, and in 2014, she got signed into Chelsea L.F.C.

So far, Fahey has played for Salthill Devon, Galway, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bordeaux, Liverpool, and the Republic of Ireland national team.

When Fahey played Gaelic football, she won the All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship on two occasions. In 2018, she began playing for Liverpool.

Fahey has additionally played for the Republic of Ireland since 2007, and has won over 100 caps for the country.
