The 22-year-old was enjoying a night out with friends in Nashville on March 8, 2024, when he was reportedly asked to leave a bar.
Despite informing his friends that he was returning to his hotel, Strain went missing, prompting a week-long search effort.
The recently uncovered video footage shows Strain briefly interacting with a police officer shortly after leaving the bar. According to Nashville Metro Police, Strain did not display any signs of distress during the encounter.
Additionally, a family friend disclosed the last known communication Strain had that evening—a text message sent to a girl he was seeing.

The message, which read “Good lops,” has left both the recipient and the sender puzzled, as its meaning remains unclear.
Chris Dingman, the family friend, described the text as “unclear slang,” indicating that neither party could decipher its intended message.
In ongoing search efforts, authorities have focused their attention on the downtown Nashville area, particularly around a river bank where Strain’s bank card was discovered over the weekend.
Despite these developments, Strain’s whereabouts remain unknown, leaving his family and friends anxiously awaiting any further leads or information that may help locate him.
