Neptune is a Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile developed by Luch Design Bureau. Neptune’s design is based on the Soviet Kh-35 anti-ship missile, with substantially improved range and electronics.

The cruise missile system was designed by Ukrainian military engineers in response to the growing naval threat posed by Russia in the Black Sea, following its annexation of Crimea in 2014.
