Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes revealed on her Instagram stories on Monday, October 10, 2022, that her son Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke two weeks ago.

Her son Brentt Leakes is 23 years old. The mother of two said she didn’t want to go into specifics about how she discovered her son or his condition, but that “it was very scary.” She stated that her son is currently having difficulty speaking.
Doctors are still conducting tests because they don’t know what caused the stroke, according to Nene Leakes. One theory is that he unknowingly contracted COVID-19, which has been linked to heart problems.

According to a recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report, heart problems are more common after contracting the virus rather than after receiving the vaccine.
She stated that her son does not drink or use drugs, both of which are known risk factors for heart failure and stroke.
