Kyrie Andrew Irving is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets (NBA).

After being selected with the first overall pick in the 2011 NBA draught by the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was named Rookie of the Year.
Kyrie was a seven-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA Team member before winning an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016.
Kyrie was named the 2014 All-Star Game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). In the 2016 NBA Finals, Irving hit the game-winning three-pointer to cap the Cavaliers’ historic comeback victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Kyrie was a Celtic for two seasons before signing as a free agent with the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.
Following the end of the 2021-2022 season, there was speculation that Irving would decline his player option and pursue a sign-and-trade deal with another team.
Despite being mentioned in nearly every report related to Kyrie Irving, the LA Clippers reportedly have no interest in trading for the star point guard.
At the end of he day, Irving ultimately opted into his $37 million player option, returning to the Nets for the 2022–23 NBA season.
