Naz Reid is a basketball player who plays as a centre forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Born on August 26, 1999, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Reid played high school basketball at Roselle Catholic High School and made a successful collegiate career playing for the LSU Tigers.

In his high school senior season, Reid averaged 14.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. He appeared at the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game, recording 15 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, in 20 minutes.

During his time at Louisiana State University, Reid averaged 13.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in his first year.

In 2019, following the foregoing of his college eligibility, Reid got signed by the Minnesota Timberwolves for four years, joggling between Minnesota and Iowa. The same year, he appeared in the NBA Summer League.

His contract with the Timberwolves is set to expire in 2023.
