As it turns out, the speculation had come to an end as Nathaniel Arcand himself confirmed his departure from the show for Season 3.
This revelation came through an Instagram post where Arcand shared, “Moving On. Moving Forward. Don’t Look Back. #movingon #movingforward #dontlookback #clintonskye Must Say Bye. Bye.”

The news was further solidified by CBS, which officially announced Arcand’s exit from the series. This marks a significant transition for a character who made his debut in the first season of the original “FBI” series and subsequently became a central figure in the “FBI: Most Wanted” spinoff.

Clinton Skye’s journey began in the 18th episode of the first season of the mothership FBI series, acting as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff.
Throughout the first season of “FBI: Most Wanted,” he featured prominently, appearing in 14 out of 15 episodes.
However, in Season 2, his presence dwindled significantly, with only three appearances. His final appearance was in the third episode titled “Deconflict” on December 8, 2020.
