Nathan Tella is a football player who has played with EFL Championship club Southampton since 2017, as a right winger, and attacking midfielder.

Before he joined Southampton , the British-born player played with the English club Arsenal for 10 seasons, and also played with Burnley on loan for one season.

Tella grew up in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and attended Freman College.

He made his senior debut with Southampton in 2020. In 2021, he made his first Premier League start in a game against Leeds United. Also in the same year, he scored his first Premier League goal.

As a loan signee, Tella played for Burnley and scored his first career hat-trick in 2023, during a match against Preston North End, and “a second hat-trick in a 3–1 victory over Hull City.”

Tella’s contract with Southampton was extended for another three and half years in 2022.
