Species actress Natasha Henstridge was born to her parents, Brian Henstridge and Helen Henstridge.

Her mother, Helen, is a homemaker, and her father, Brian, runs a construction business.
The couple also has another son named Shane.

Natasha Henstridge is a Canadian-born actress known for starring as Eve in the science-fiction horror series Species II and Species III.
Her first acting roles were in a few theater productions including “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.

So far, Henstridge has appeared in several films and TV series, including “Maximum Risk, The Whole Nine Yards, The Whole Ten Yards, Ghosts of Mars, She Spies, Eli Stone, Would Be Kings, and the drama series Diggstown”, which won her a Gemini Award for Best Actress.

Henstridge made her film debut with the 1995 film Species, starring as Sil, an alien who escapes from the confines of a laboratory.
Her role in the film had won her the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, following a scene where she had to kiss an abusive date.
In the sequels, Species II & Species III, Henstridge played the character of Eve.
In 2001, she starred in John Carpenter’s Ghosts of Mars, playing the lead character of Lieutenant Melanie Ballard.
Aside from winning awards, Henstridge was selected as judge at the maiden edition of the annual Noor Iranian Film Festival.
