This statement by Nadia Mitsopoulos on her Twitter page got many talking about what kind of relationship existed between Nadia and Russell.
Woolf was the host of ABC Radio Perth’s breakfast show and had previously presented the Drive program over an almost two-decade career with the national broadcaster.

From 2007 until 2011, he was the weather presenter for ABC’s West Australian television news.

Woolf stated in 2015 that he and his family will be relocating to the United States, departing his role as host of Saturday Breakfast on 720 after his final program on December 12, 2015.
Russell Woolf did just that this week when he returned to WA radio to co-host morning on ABC Perth. Nadia Mitsopoulos, Woolf’s co-host, hosted the show solo on Tuesday and Wednesday when Woolf was sick.

Woolf died in his sleep on October 26, 2021, in the early hours of the morning. Geoff Hutchison, a colleague of Woolf’s, confirmed his death on ABC Radio Perth. Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan and former ABC Radio co-host Nadia Mitsopoulos were among those who paid homage to Woolf.
Woolf is survived by his wife, Kylie, and their daughter, Bronte, who was born in 2008.
Nadia and Russell were working colleagues.
