Ghanaian Hiplife artist, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has voiced her frustration over the escalating cost of living in the country.

In an Instagram update, Mzbel voiced intense irritation regarding the steep costs of commodities and services, underscoring the economic struggles encountered by numerous Ghanaians.
The hiplife icon, who is the proprietor of a restaurant, disclosed that the skyrocketing prices are substantially affecting her business.

As per her statement, she purchases a solitary tomato for GH¢5, and the expenses for ingredients and provisions have surged, rendering it progressively challenging for her restaurant to operate viably.
In addition to the escalating prices of commodities, Mzbel also addressed the burden of heightened electricity expenses.
She disclosed that following the installation of new meters, she has been shelling out GH¢200 every day on electricity, a considerable cost that is putting a strain on her finances.
Mzbel urged the government to take decisive steps to stabilize the economy and alleviate the cost of living.
