Mr. Logic, the Chairman of the Songwriters Association of Ghana, has voiced concern about the increasing trend of artists parting ways with their managers after achieving success.

According to him, some artists abandon their managers once they achieve success in the industry, regardless of the years of support and investment provided by their managers.
In a discussion with Blakk Rasta on Urban Blend on 3FM, Mr. Logic elucidated that some emerging artists fail to appreciate the efforts of their managers, even after gaining some exposure.
Supporting his argument, he recounted a specific incident where an artist he once managed left him after securing a visa to the United Kingdom.

“As for our people from here, you put in the work for them, and they don’t appreciate it. Those who are across borders appreciate the work music executives put in. I’m fully confident that Mo will not let me down because she has seen it all.
“She does not need a visa to America and says since I’m going to America, I will not work with you. The last artiste I worked with got a UK visa and decided not to work with me. A lot of them see getting a visa as a breakthrough,” he added.
He declined to disclose the names of certain artists he has managed who have undergone similar experiences, emphasizing that “it’s more as if you are attacking them, but this is what we go through.”
