Mozart death: What did Mozart died from?

Mozart died on December 5, 1791, at his home in Vienna, Austria, at the age of 35. The exact cause of his death is still a matter of speculation, but it is believed that he died of rheumatic fever.

Mozart’s father, Leopold Mozart, was a composer and music teacher who recognized his son’s talent at an early age and devoted himself to his son’s musical education.

In 1781, Mozart moved to Vienna, where he achieved great success as a composer and performer. Mozart’s music is known for its beauty, complexity, and emotional depth.

Mozart’s early career was spent in Salzburg, where he worked as a court musician for the Archbishop of Salzburg. However, he was unhappy with his position and longed for greater artistic freedom.

In Milan, Mozart wrote the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto (1770).  Mozart also composed many symphonies, including the “Jupiter Symphony” (1788), and chamber music, such as the “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (1787).
