Mort Sahl was born in Quebec, Canada on May 11, 1927, and died on October 27, 2021, at the age of 94.

Mort Sahl attended Campton College and later proceeded to the University of Southern California where he bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Traffic Engineering and City Management.

Mort Sahl married on three different occasions. Mort tied the knot with Susan Babior in 1955 but they parted ways in 1958.

Four years after divorcing Susan, Mort Sahl married China Lee but they divorced in 1996. In 1997, Mort Sahl walked down the aisle with Kenslea Ann Motter but they divorced in 2009.
