Mooky Greidinger is an Israeli businessman and the chief executive officer (CEO) of the giant cinema chain Cineworld.
Born in December 1952, in Haifa, Mooky graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel, where he studied economics.

Mooky was raised in a family with interest in the cinema business. His grandfather had founded Cinema City International, which he previously led as CEO. Cinema City International was Europe’s third largest cinema giant until 2014.
Mooky became CEO cum member of the board of directors of Cineworld in 2014, and took over Cinema City, which owned 24.9% of the group.
In 2017, Cineworld acquired Regal Entertainment Group for $3.6 billion, expanding its presence in 10 countries, with over 9,500 screens.
Mooky’s brother Israel Greidinger, serves as deputy CEO of the company.
