Suede was sent there after being sentenced in Riverside County last December to serve two years and eight months on two charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun, according to state corrections officials.
He passed away at the prison’s medical facility despite attempts to save his life.

Suede’s death at the Corrective Training Center in Soledad was verified by representatives of the Monterey County coroner’s office and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, although they did not immediately comment on how the 22-year-old passed away.

However, according to Nicholas Rosenberg, Suede’s attorney, “They indicated it was a stabbing to the neck.”
Suede’s real name was Jaime Brugada Valdez and he was from Huntington Park.
Suede signed with Atlantic Records in 2021 and released his most recent album, “Parkside Baby,” in September.
Suede’s self-titled debut EP was released in March 2022, and soon after, he began featuring in collaborations with artists like Young Demon, Cypress Moreno, Lil Weirdo, and others.
He then released his first album, Parkside Baby, in September 2022, followed by a mixtape, Parkside Santa.
It’s more likely that Suede was not married and didn’t have children at the time he died.
