Molly Russell Cause Of Death

Molly Rusell was a British student. She was found dead hours after handing in her homework and packing a schoolbag for the next day. She died by suicide.

Molly attended the Hatch East High School in Harrow, Middlesex, and had started viewing the disturbing posts without her family’s knowledge.

Her father, Ian told North London Coroner’s court on Tuesday that his daughter had spent an increased amount of time alone in her room but still happily contributed to family life.

It was only after her death that he found out she had opened a Twitter account without his knowledge. She used it to reach out to other accounts for help.

After her death, Molly became a name- a photo of her in school uniform appeared across newspaper front pages-as her father became a prominent campaigner for stronger regulation of social media.
